Guillotine from Closed Guard, Guillotine from Mount
2 Part Technique - Finishing the Guillotine Choke from Closed Guard is a matter of preventing your opponent from countering with forward pressure by blocking his shoulder with your elbow. Clear a path for your elbow by pushing his hips away with your Closed Guard. If he grabs onto your elbow, scrape his hand off with your leg and try to re-close your guard with his arm outside. If you can't accomplish that, no worry; as long as his hand is knocked away, you will have time and room to raise your elbow. If he sacrifices the mount in an effort to escape from the choke, keep your leg out of range of his guard recovery so that you may clear his hand and finish the Guillotine Choke from the Mount.
