Inverted Guillotine to Mounted Guillotine, Guillotine from Mount
2 Part Technique - Continue to hold the Guillotine if the opponent sweeps you over when attacking his Butterfly Guard with the submission. The Inverted Guillotine is not a secure and stable position, so immediately push his head to the side for the space needed to transition into Mount. As always, swing your elbow over the opponent's shoulder and concentrate against his neck. The opponent may roll around to force an escape, but continue the Guillotine pressure anyways. If the opponent stops rolling while on top, tangle his legs in Half Guard to prevent any pass that could free himself from the choke.
