Frame Escape vs Over Under Pass, Bridge Escape from Half Guard, Hook Sweep from Half Guard
2 Part Technique - If threatened by the Over Under Pass, do not let your opponent control the "Over" portion; otherwise it will be significantly harder to create enough space to escape. Defend by fighting for the inside tie on his arm, blocking him from overhooking around your elbow while keeping it close to your body. Pummel back your underhook and hip escape out to the side where you can insert a butterfly hook for the sweep. If your opponent compensates for your pummel by holding tighter and dropping more weight onto your shoulder, switch your posting foot to the inside and Bridge Escape -forcing him to either be rolled or lose his underhook by posting out. Quickly take advantage of the space created to pummel your elbow back down and through for your own underhook -finishing again with the Hook Sweep from Half Guard.
