Marcelo converts a Guillotine-Choke attempt initiated from Side-Control into a finish from off his back after his opponent tries to reverse with a Single-Leg: While keeping your opponent pinned onto their back with a Cross-Face against their head, if you allow them to tilt up onto their shoulder to better expose their neck, they may time your release and meet you with a fast turn-over onto their knees for a Single-Leg Reversal; when this happens, don't let them fully control your leg and suck it inwards. Sprawl your leg backwards as far back as possible while maintaining a lock around their neck with your choking-arm. When they lose control over your leg, swing it back towards their hips while falling back into guard to finish the Guillotine from a 3/4-Guard. If you can free your leg completely from their Single-Leg attempt, swing your leg back in front of their arm across their shoulder to throttle the choke from a 'High-Low' Guard.
