Hip Throw to Side Control into Armbar from Mount
Marcelo consolidates top position after a Hip-Throw and attacks from the Mount: After throwing your opponent with a Major Hip-Toss, you may end up on top without enough balance to attack from an impact-control position, e.g. Knee-on-Belly; place your chest upon your opponent's torso and seek for Under-Hook & Head-Control to hold them down. Walk your under-hooking arm north to help bring their elbow away from their side enough to drive your knee across their belly for the Full-Mount position. Once you achieve the Full-Mount, don't hold onto your opponent's head without room to post your arms; otherwise, you run the risk of losing your base to a quick reversal. Keep your hips heavy while floating your upper-body above their head and arms until you can take a same-side grip onto their wrist. Slide your knee past their shoulder on the side you are controlling their wrist and turn the corner, stepping your opposite side foot up into their armpit. Divert your weight onto your far-side foot by leaning onto your leg that is across their chest as you pass your other leg over their face. Seize their near-side foream with both hands to control the rotation of their hand and apply breaking pressure behind their elbow joint by extending your hips while keeping your feet heavy.
