Posture Escape vs Triangle
2 Part Lesson -- Marcelo frees himself from a Nogi Triangle: Slide your knee forward to check your opponent's hip on the side of your trapped arm. Build a frame against the opponent's belly, posture up, and wedge your knee above your opponent's hip. Exhaust your opponent's legs until they loosen up enough to escape. Don't let your opponent control your hands when framing; quickly slip out and return back to pushing away. [05:18] Make sure you have good balance when posturing up. Don't let your opponent shake you from your base when framing away. You can strengthen your posture by coming up to both feet, but don't let your head go forward so that you fall back down into a broken posture.
