2 Part Technique - If you could not prevent the Take down, at least end with control. The only time to use the arm inside guillotine, is to assist in sweeping the opponent. Hook Sweep towards the side with the arm trapped to prevent the opponent from posting. If the opponent prevents the Hook Sweep by basing his weight to the side, use the Hook Lift instead.

mg when you have this front headlock grip in the butterfly guard after the takedown and he does base to his strong side so you can't hook sweep him would it be ok to escape your hips to the side of the overhook and set up an omoplata?

What happens if your opponent lands in side control so you have no guard or butterfly control? Please advise. Thanks.
