2 Part Technique - Henrique stresses the importance of avoiding Underhook & Head Control when his opponent is looking to establish the Side Control after passing. Do so by hugging his tricep away from becoming a crossface, and framing underneath his face with your other arm. If he takes away your guard recovery by blocking your hip, hold his arm tightly and run yourself to the North South position with the control. Grabbing onto the back of his jacket, use your grips to help guide him over to the mat as you execute the Bridge Escape. Once on top, walk back around to the side which facilitates yor own Underhook & Head Control.
