2 Part Technique - Back Step against an opponent's Under Hook from Half Guard. Control the opponent's belt and knee as he attempts to reverse you from Half Guard using his under hook. Free your legs once the opponent starts reversing and use your control to pin him. If the opponent realizes he's losing the position, he may retreat and control your entire leg. Weigh over his arm, control his knee again, and force his Half Guard open with your foot.

Hi Marcelo, just a question. Wouldn't be better have a control on the head like kesagatame before you make the back step?
