2 Part Lesson — Marcelo exploits the reduced friction of nogi: [I] Deprive your opponent of any control when standing above his Open Guard and thrust your knee across his leg, slipping through his defenses and landing heavily on his side with Underhook & Head Control or landing into North/South. You may end up on the opposite side for control or even exposing the opponent's back for the Seatbelt. [II] If your opponent captures your foot and dive deep for your other leg, immediately answer back with a Leg-Over or Sit-Over Pass against his Deep Half. Continue to hover and float your hips around his guard until you can establish a winnable passing position to Side Control or Mount. Try slipping your foot free out of his Reverse Half Guard with a Back Step Pass. Actively post your hands onto the mat to help mobilize your legs against his guard while he is preoccupied with framing with his arms.

Sir
As I am in my 40s I am always seeking to simplify my approach. I just don't have time to cover everything.
So if I was to focus on just one butterfly guard pass to start with and really drill to a good level of proficiency, what would you suggest?
Thank you.SK
