Turning Escape vs Mount, Half Guard to Guard, Hook Sweep from Half Guard
2 Part Technique - Escaping from the High Mount is a procedure which leaves no room for mistakes, but precision in movement is the price you have to pay for letting him get that far. Start with freeing your arms by bracing against his hips and wiggling out into a strong framing position. Bump his hands to the mat for the Upa Escape, but if he defends the capture of his elbow, rely on the Turning Escape; push against his leg and slide out into Half Guard. Protect yourself from the crossface and recover the Closed Guard. If you scoop his ankle during the escape, claim the underhook with the Half Guard for the Hook Sweep.
