Armbar vs Bridge Escape, Armbar vs Curl Escape
2 Part Technique - While holding the Mount position, sit high on your opponent's torso rather than near his hips where his ability to move your weight from bridging is stronger. In his frustration to bump you off, he may extend his arms to press you away while he bridges to one side. Instead of stepping over his face for an armlock, keep tighter by sliding your shin onto his neck as you corkscrew over to the opposite side onto your hip. Finish here, or if he rolls over onto his back, place your leg over his face and finish with the traditional armbar. If he tries to push you by your armpits, making room for his legs to curl up and step get under them, immediately transition to the Armbar before he has a chance to escape; slide your shin and foot underneath his arm and shoulder while sitting back with his wrist.
