2 Part Technique - There are several different scenarios in which you can catch your opponent in a position for the Armbar from Mount, wherein his tricep is blocked by your abdomen. Such situations include: Pulling him onto his side by the sleeve, pinning an arm down to feign an Americana and waiting for his other arm to rescue it, tipping him onto his side by pushing down on his tightly held forearm, and while he attempts to control your arm for the bridge escape. Regardless of the method, use your navel area to block behind his tricep once his arm is vulnerable, and twist is body flat by turning his face away with your own tricep. When ready, slide your knee up passed his shoulder, step your foot next to his armpit, and swing your leg over his face, sitting back with his fully extended arm and pulling down toward the side of his legs for the Armbar. If he insists on turning over onto his side too much and exposes his back, forgo the armlock and switch to the 2on1 Seatbelt Control variant. Use this form of control to pull him from Mount to Back Control and trap his arm with your hook. Finish with the Rear Naked Choke by switching from the 2on1 Seatbelt to his neck and keeping 1on1 wrist control.
