2 Part Technique - Push your opponent flat onto his back and pass with the Standing Step by pushing his knee down and kicking your leg back while supporting your weight down on his stomach. Drive your shin across his belly and prepare for him to attempt an escape from the Knee on Belly Control by shrimping his hips to the outside. Simply follow him long enough to drop into Underhook and Head Control by riding out his escape and surfing on his stomach with your shin while adjusting your trail leg to keep the distance close. If he insists on attacking the single leg, or if he's strong enough to create too much space to cover from his hip escape, drive your weight onto his chest and quickly release the pressure as you spin around his strong effort to pronate. When timed correctly, he will over commit to the attack and rotate over onto his knees where you can fasten the seatbelt and take his back with hooks.
