Hand Fighting from Standing, Sprawl vs Takedown, Taking the Back from Front Headlock, Turtle to Back Control, Rear Naked Choke
2 Part Technique - After losing the battle for grips and control from standing, a savvy opponent will initiate a takedown attempt to capitalize on your shortcoming. Divert his momentum toward the mat with a sprawl, keeping your hips heavy, and secure the Front Headlock to help remove his arms from your legs. Use your arms to cut space for your knee to enter into his side and spin around to take his back with Seatbelt Control, and set your hooks by rolling him onto your hip where you can then finish with the Rear Naked Choke. If your opponent prevent you from buckling your Seatbelt Control upon taking his back because he is preoccupied with hook defense, bide your time and wait for the opportunity to sink the choke without your hooks when the opponent makes the mistake of opening up space around his neck.
