Marcelo derives a contigency attack after sweeping: If your opponent stands up to break open your Closed-Guard, seize control over both of their ankles making grips at the heels to knock them backwards for a sweep. If they land too far away for you to ride their momentum up on top into Mount, you may be confronted with their Open-Guard; make grips on the inside of their pants at the knees and prepare to launch yourself into a Toreando-Pass (a.k.a Bull-Fighter Pass, Matador-Pass, et al.). Use your weight through your grips to pin your opponent's legs down while working your legs around to the side, dropping your shoulder down on top of them. Secure your knees close to your opponent before releasing your grips and hunting for upper-body control. If your opponent happens to capture your trailing-leg into Half-Guard, apply a Cross-Face and drop onto your free-side hip for a Turning-Pass; press down on their legs to free your knee enough to transition into a 3/4-Mount. Break your opponent's 1/4-Guard by inserting your thumb into their cross-collar and making an outside grip for another delivery of cross-facing pressure. Take control over your opponent's arm and work your legs into a perpendicular seated posture for an Armbar submission.
