Armbar from Closed Guard
Marcelo sets up an Arm-Lock starting with 2-on-1 Control from the Closed-Guard: Grab onto one of your opponent's arms with both hands; seize a grip over their elbow/triceps with a same-side grab while controlling their wrist with a Cross-Grip. Pull their elbow onto your body and pin their forearm in place by releasing your Cross-Grip and coming across their elbow/biceps for a Cross-Side False-Grip (i.e. keeping your thumb aligned with your fingers in adduction); next, switch from your ipsalateral C-Grip on their elbow to a contralateral False-Grip onto their opposite-side shoulder. Post your foot against their hip on the same side as your trap on their arm and press off of it to swivel your hips out to the side. Chop your other leg against the back of their shoulder to help keep them from stacking you in defense as you bring your opposite leg across their face for an Armbar. Keep hold over your opponent's elbow throughout the transition and trade your shoulder-grip for control over their wrist to secure their arm with 2-on-1 Control again for the finish. Apply finishing pressure behind your opponent's elbow by extending your hips slightly off the mat while hanging your legs heavily against their neck and back.
