Breaking Posture from Closed Guard > Collar Choke from Closed Guard > Armbar from Closed Guard
2 Part Lesson -- Paul teaches the classic Double-Attack from Closed Guard: Using a Cross-Collar grip to break down your opponent's posture, free your hips with short bumps as you place your opponent's elbow on your stomach by pulling at the triceps. Maintain control over your opponent's posture by using your forearm to press down on the back of their head; sneak your thumb inside your opponent's collar behind the neck to set up your finishing grip for the Cross-Collar-Choke. Pummel your elbow back in front of your opponent's face and activate your wrist-bones against the neck to throttle the submission. [04:33] If your opponent tries to regain posture out of your choking grips, use the space they create to swing your leg across the head and bite down for the Armbar from Closed Guard.
