2 Part Lesson — [I] Use your Sprawl and Snap-Down from the Front Headlock position to help readjust your grip on his head and arm when you feel your opponent is beginning to slip out and escape while standing; the return back down to the mat oftentimes will force the opponent to release his hands from your arms to catch his fall and give you a moment to resecure the position. [II] If your opponent makes a grip on the inside of your elbow to help free his head from the lock, escape your arm and regrab him by making a grip on his armpit from above to perform the Snap-Down.
