2 Part Lesson — Marcelo shares a move that surprises his sparring partners the most: [I] Pop your opponent's shoulders back when he is seated in front of you and step forward, snapping his head down into a Guillotine when he tries to sit back up in posture. Finish the Guillotine from on top in Mount by posting on your foot and forehead, fall off to the side of the choke to finish from Guard, or kick your free leg out to post away from your opponent's escape. [II] If you don't have the choke upon stepping inside the Seated Guard, continue your forward momentum and hit the Leg Over Pass when he falls flat or pulls Deep Half. If your foot is captured, stay there and make your opponent struggle until he relinquishes the pass.
