Rolling and Hip Roll Escape vs Back Control
3 Part Lesson - Marcelo instructs a series of escapes from "Turtle" against an opponent's intentions to fasten the Seat Belt and clinch Back Control. Catch the opponent's wrist before he clasps the Seat Belt and roll away to twist into Side Control. If you feel the opponent sprawl away to avoid the reversal, posture and swim for the Under Hook to face him on your knees. Lastly, if the opponent hides his hand from being seized, press your shoulder into the mat and roll along your shoulders to use the weight of your hips and legs to escape.
