2 Part Techniques - Counter the opponent's Over Under Control using a frame with your arms and pressing away. The space you create will make it difficult for the opponent to Hook Sweep because he will have a weak control. Progress further by forcing the opponent's back to the mat. If he continues to push forward for his control, he will expose his neck to a Guillotine once he gets close. Immediately connect your hands and swing your elbow over his shoulder. Land your weight to the side for the submission. If the opponent decides to go under for a Deep Half Guard instead of forcing the Over Under, quickly press his shoulders to the mat for control. Waiting will only put you in danger of being swept, so wrap your arm around his vulnerable neck for the North South Choke.
