Marcelo shows a Guillotine Choke after diving overhead: [I] Playing Butterfly Guard correctly requires the opponent to place emphasis on his forward posture, otherwise, he will be placed on his back too easily. If you realize your opponent is strong in this regard, you can use this against him to step up a Guillotine Choke: Step forward and push the opponent's shoulder's back; when he corrects forward, snap his head down into your bladed forearm and clasp your hands together in a Ball-N-Socket Grip (i.e. Seatbelt-style). Put the back of his head in the center of your chest and pull your grip inward, squeezing his throat. If he tries to bring his back to the mat, quickly tuck his head underneath your armpit before he can commit your weight forward. Finish the choke by lowering your hips while squeezing with your arms. [II] If your opponent does manage to take you overhead while you're holding onto the choke, quickly dive onto your shoulder to avoid hurting your neck. While on your side, place his head on your chest and crunch in as you squeeze for the tap.
