Taking the Back from Front Headlock, Seatbelt Control from Back, Turtle to Back Control, Back Control Recovery
2 Part Lesson — Paul explicates how to Take-The-Back starting from the Front-Headlock-Position: [I] Avoid letting the opponent block your access to the back (like a turnstyle) by sucking his elbow inward and driving your knee inside before releaseing the lock and finding the Seatbelt. Use the ball of your foot to help elevate his body off the mat to tuck in your bottom Back Hook. [II] If your opponent steps up to counter your direct path to the Seatbelt, step over his leg and lay heavily on his back with your chest before switching to the Seatbelt. After jumping over, use your free leg to drive the opponent up onto his side and slightly off the mat to cut underneath him in a roll to set the other hook.
