Punch Block, Over Under Control from Standing, Hip Throw, Knee on Belly, Back Body Lock Takedown, Mount
2 Part Lesson — Paul teaches a Self-Defense maneuver followed by a throwdown: [I] When closing the distance on an a blocked Overhand Right, collapse your weight onto the opponent's punch with your inside arm as you wrap around his body for Over/Under Control in base. Step across his legs, aligning your feet inside of his base, and pop his weight up over your hip for Ogoshi to Ukigatame. [II] If your opponent prevents you from stepping in front of his legs, trip him backwards with Otoshi to Mount. Be careful training this technique with your partner, as it is easy to injure his or her leg if you fall back incorrectly.
