Armbar from Closed Guard
2 Part Lesson — Paul mentions several key details for finishing the Armbar from Closed Guard: [I] Your hips should constantly gain altitude throughout the process of climbing up the opponent's back and onto his arm. In stages, fit your legs high around the opponent's hips, hop onto his shoulder for High Guard, bite into his side for the pivot, and hook his face away from the stack for the finish. [II] If your opponent defends the armlock by intervening with his free hand, pummel the arm to the outside, and then bring his wrist to your nearside hip for the extension.
