2 Part Technique - Use an Under Hook or Head Control from Open Guard to neutralize the opponent's movement by pinning his back to the mat in Half Guard. Wrap your arm around the opponent's head, grasp near his shoulder, and turn your weight to hold him down. Starting with your knee, force yourself into Mount. If the opponent blocks your knee to hold off your advancement, he exposes himself to the control of an Under Hook. Use the control and slide your knee against the opponent's Half Guard.
