Breaking Gi Grips from Half Guard, Cross Arm and Belt Sweep from Butterfly, Half Guard to Guard
2 Part Technique - If your opponent attempts the Knee Slide Pass versus your Half Guard, hug your nearside hip and keep your knee off of the mat. Surprisingly, rip his grip off of your collar and tuck his hand under your pistol grip for Cross Arm Control. Cross your top leg over his leg and sit up for his belt in Butterfly. Bring your head across his chest and use your butterfly hook to kick him over for the Cross Arm & Belt Sweep from Butterfly. If his grip on your collar is posting more than it is holding, knock it off of your chest and Foot Wipe his hip back to Butterfly Guard.
