Marcelo slides his knee through the middle to pass, the opponent turns just for a split second, so Marcelo capitalizes on the mistake by obtaining the seatbelt and putting hooks in.

The opponents momentum is turned against him in this sweep. Marcelo then quickly mounts, the opponent turns away, so Marcelo steps and sits across the body to obtain Seatbelt control.

Marcelo attempts a sweep, but the opponent counters by moving to the otherside. Marcelo blocks the guard pass with his knees, then rotates on the bottom, using his legs to capture the opponents arm, landing in the crucifix position.

Marcelo pinches the Head and Arm together, then sweeps using his left hook. Many times its difficult to obtain the Over/Under position, so the Head and Arm control is a great substitution.

The opponent attempts to Pass, grabbing Marcelo's legs. While is head is lowered, Marcelo secures the Guillotine from Guard.

Marcelo is in sidecontrol, then lifts the opponent's head to reveal his neck. Marcelo slips on his rear naked choke attempt, but obtains the Over/Under Seatbelt back control instead. He finishes by putting the hooks in.

Marcelo is slipping off in position, but retains the Over/Under Seatbelt control. He then readjusts to a more favored position. It's important to hold the Over/Under Seatbelt control to secure a strong back control.

Marcelo forces the opponent's back to the mat then preforms a standing pass. Marcelo pins the opponent down with his right hand, while kicking his far leg back to free his leg. He then goes to knee on belly then transitions to mount.
