Marcelo passes to halfguard using pressure, turns, then frees the leg to secure sidecontrol.

Marcelo moves around in sidecontrol forcing the opponent to expose a mistake. The opponent leaves his neck open, so Marcelo sinks in the Guillotine from sidecontrol.

The opponent drives into Marcelo using his underhook to bring Marcelo to the mat. But, Marcelo finds the Guillotine, sinks it in, then finishes by squeezing and dropping his left leg over the back.

Marcelo forces the opponents back to the mat, then pressures his right knee through to secure halfguard. Marcelo always positions the opponent's back to mat before passing.
