robrizob is spot on. Mattius (spelling?) is a monster purple and he's been known to tap out blacks. I also think he went back to Brazil recently (these videos have about a 3 week delay from the time they are shot and posted)

He looks like he has strong wrestling.  He comes up on doubles and singles alot and does very well in scrambles.  Marcelo has a couple of stud purple belts judging by their rolls with him.

Thanks for the info robrizob.  That's incredible if this guy is a purple, no doubt he will be tearing it up for a long time.

I could watch this roll over and over, it's an amazing demonstration of skill by both parties.

segfault, I believe this is one of Marcelo's purple belts, Matteus, who regularly demonstrates techniques with him on the site. He is phenomenal, and I expect him to be one of the first of Marcelo's students to become a champion in his own right.

What's the backstory here?  I don't recognize the training partner, but he obviously is top notch.  I'm not used to seeing Marcelo this rough and serious.
