Guillotine vs Takedown, Guillotine from Standing, Pull Guard, Guillotine from Closed Guard
2 Part Technique - Counter your opponent's attempt to tackle you to the ground by posting on his shoulders, extending your legs away from his grasp, and throwing is head under your armpit for the Guillotine Choke. You can finish the submission from standing by simply lifting your wrist up into his throat and locking your grip so that it hides the choking hand. If for some reason you don't seem to be able to apply the necessary pressure, take the choke to the ground by stepping on his foot, opposite of the choking side, and pulling him into your Closed Guard. This repositioning will allow you to finish the guillotine with a combination of pushing his hips away with your legs and pulling up into his neck with your wrist.
