2 Part Technique - If you're smart, the only danger that the Spider Guard poses is wearing out your arms while fighting against his legs. If left unchecked, it can pose a problem later on in the fight, so it's best to change up the position and pass by freeing yourself of his grips on your arms, one at a time. Before you can deal with breaking the grips, first latch onto his gi with both hands so he no longer has as much freedom to move your arms around. To break the sleeve grip on the side he has lassoed a leg hook around your arm, either step over his shin or block it with your knee and pull your arm upward explosively while still keeping your hips heavy and low. Chuck his foot on your bicep off to the side and drop your hips heavily onto his side for the Folding Pass. If he hip escapes to recover guard after you throw his leg off to the side, quickly dive for an underhook, landing in half guard where you can promptly finish with the Over Under Pass.
