2on1 vs Closed Guard, Breaking the Closed Guard, Circling Pass vs Open Guard
3 Part Technique - Extend your arms in a firm posture against the opponent's stomach to maintain space in his closed guard. If he reacts to your standing up by grabbing your leg, break his grip and return to your base still with posture. Secure the 2on1 to prevent your opponent from grabbing your leg as you stand up, break his closed guard, and finish with the circle pass. If the opponent attempts the ankle pull sweep, free your foot by kicking foward and circling to the outside, finishing with the pass. If he underhooks both ankles, kick forward and circle to the outside to free your legs, again finishing with the circle pass.
