Marcelo helps Jimmy with an advanced grip set-up that lends itself to a strong 'Short' Hook-Sweep from Butterfly Guard: Take advantage of your opponent's jacket by assuming an Under-Hook, reinforced with a horse-collar or far/rear-lapel grip, and hold them close to your torso to apply rotation. Set your foot or shin against your opponent's knee (on the same-side as your under-hooking arm) and pull your opponent forward, elongating their body and creating a large elbow-knee separation. Kick out your opponent's supporting-leg from basing out and induce a spin along their longitudinal axis to arrive on top and complete your sweeping attack.
