1 Leg X Guard Entry from Open Guard, 1 Leg X Guard Entry from Single Leg Control
2 Part Technique - It's better to switch to Open or Butterfly Guard before the opponent forces your Closed Guard open and dictates what happens next. Break the collar grip if needed, press your foot against the opponent's hip to extend his leg for an opening, and transition into the 1 Leg X Guard from Open Guard. This entry is similar to the Tripod Sweep position. If the opponent turns his knee away to prevent the entry, transition into the 1 Leg X Guard Entry from Single Leg Control instead.
