2 Part Lesson — Marcelo teaches how use his opponent's Guard Recovery to his own advantage: [I] If your opponent loses a scramble and decides to retreat in order to recover his guard back, prevent his recovery with a Hip-Drag; immediately, land on his side without giving up the underhook, all the while, looking for your own to establish the pass. [II] If your opponent tries to fight your Hip-Drag, peeling his back off of the mat, let him; dive onto his back for the Seatbelt and roll under him for the hooks.
