2 Part Lesson — Marcelo learns a lesson from Braulio: [I] Starting from the Hand-Fight, gain control of your opponent's hands/wrists to gain access to the inside; in this case, for sliding into 1Leg X. Hit his upper leg hard on the first move or the third to off-balance him for the sweep. But, if your opponent postures back up after his fall, be prepared to knock him back with a blow to his shoulder/chest with your palm. Retract your extended arm back to safety to avoid any Triangle threats. [II] Some moves require an extra push at the end to successfully execute them when your opponent resists, hence the shove. But, if f your opponent insists on driving back into you, snap his head down and crush his throat with the Guillotine Choke. Use your stomach/chest as a backstop to hold his head while you squeeze.
