3 Part Lesson — Marcelo continues his Grip-Breaking Series from Standing: [I] Immediately address your opponent's grip on your collar with both hands; as you push, pull your back away from the break to couple the force. If he has your sleeve afterward, smack his arm away with your palm before advancing. [II] As a penultimate resort, that is before kicking your opponent downstairs, try circling your hand around his wrist to break his grip on your sleeve. [III] Be prepared to Sprawl after your break the last grip if your opponent decides to shoot on your legs when you are resetting.
