2 Part Technique - After you've killed your opponents hip with the Folding Pass, he will more than likely try to escape by turning over toward Turtle and somersaulting back into guard with the Hip Roll Escape. Don't lose your edge; you're ahead because he was forced to counter. Continue the pressure and immediately jump into your next pass as his legs come around to recover. That is what is important to learn, maintaining the positional advantage. Use your hand to push his knee down so you can dive inside with a Knee Inside and establish control. If you get stuck in Half Guard, so be it -use your underhook to collapse his hips and pass with the Over Under. This can be accomplished with either the same side leg, for the Knee Inside Pass, or the cross leg, for the Knee Slide.
