2 Part Technique - Before you can pass the De-La-Riva Guard, you must stabilize your posture and base. Solidify your base by pointing your knee into his DLR-Hook to prevent him from rotating your hips, and break his grip on your sleeve by twisting your hand around his wrist to re-grip his collar or control his arm. Next, shift your weight into his hook, crossing both of your knees over his thigh, and drop your upper body onto his chest for the Double Knee Pass. If he manages to block this pass by shielding your hip with a Knee Inside, grab onto his back and collar for the Folding Pass.
