Guard Recovery vs Stacking Pass
2 Part Drill - The key element of defending against the Stacking Pass is to prevent your opponent from grabbing onto your collar by laying your legs as heavily against his biceps as possible. If he begins to elevate a side to reach your collar, roll onto your side and chop back down on his arm with your leg to bring yourself back down to the mat. When the opportunity to pummel your hooks back in front presents itself, do so and reset back to Butterfly Guard or Spider Guard.
