3 Part Technique - After breaking the opponent's grip from Closed Guard, pivot his arm to expose his elbow. Controlling the opponent's elbow is crucial in successfully using Omoplatas. Swing your leg over and pin the opponent's shoulder to the mat, sit up, control his far shoulder, and torque the submission to finalize the attack. As the opponent retracts his arm and postures, use the control to connect a Short Hook Sweep. If the opponent reacts by posting his controlled arm, focus your attention towards his second arm use the same Omoplata idea.
